Before joining AltaTerra, Kathy Acuff was managing editor of Technology Forecast Publications for the PricewaterhouseCoopers Global Technology Centre, where she oversaw all editorial and production processes for encyclopedic reports covering IT software, hardware, and market trends. Earlier, she was a senior managing editor at Miller Freeman and the associate editor of Microprocessor Report. Kathy, whose BA in journalism is from Georgia State University, studied linguistics at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, was one of the first women admitted to the graduate school at the University of the South, and earned a certificate from the Stanford University Professional Publishing Course. She also has written articles and series for newspapers and magazines, and marketing communications for businesses.
