Letha Dawson is one of AltaTerra's senior research associates. Prior to Alta Terra, as a ranking member of the Michigan Commerce Department, Letha served as lead investigator of cost-effective new technologies for re-using and recycling industrial and commercial waste, including automotive waste, paper, and plastic. As a member of the Michigan Senate Select Committee advisory board, she contributed to the state's Omnibus Recycling Legislation. Earlier, Letha had analyzed potable water usage and needs in the coal-mining region of Kentucky for federal grant programs. Letha holds a master in business administration from the University of Kentucky.
