UPS Aims for 20% Improvement in MPG by 2020

UPS has set a new efficiency goal for its ground delivery fleet. The company is aiming for a 20 percent increase in overall miles per gallon from the years 2000 to 2020.

The company has already hit a 10 percent improvement for its ground vehicles from 2000 to 2009, which has saved 3.2 million gallons of fuel.
