This is AFCOM’s 30^th anniversary, and the data center market seems to be strong despite the down economy. More than 800 attendees and 200 exhibitors got here for this conference. As for myself, I got to see a lot of familiar faces, such as Rich Miller of Data Center Knowledge, with whom I shared some industry information and rumors.

Because of the significant anniversary, Jill looked back at how the data center space evolved from the 1980s to 2010:

It is hard to believe that it has been 30 years since 1980. I all of a sudden feel old.
